Ok , so i have one problem with consumption of gasoline on Aprilia sr 125. I never saw something like this. . So its a stock engine except the carb ... Carb is Dellorto phvb 22 , setup of carb: Main jet 78 , idle jet 40 , choke jet about 60.. Air screw 2 circles opened,needle on 1st tooth . Ok so the bike goes very good , mixture is almost perfect (little too rich but ok )..But the consumption is about 10l / 100 km... Same when stunting.. I put main jet 74 , consumption is now much lower BUT scooter goes like dead chicken . Tried 76 , still the same. Not going like it should go, and the consumption is still too much.. Is that because the carb is 22 instead of 20.5 ? Thanx 4 answers people .

I have Malossi cylinder head, 13g rollers, 98 main jet, scooter goes like rocket (Waynder can tell you that)!
And mine consumption is around 5-6l on 100km last time I checked!

The EX sp 180 i had was stage 6 tm 24 carb , polini evolution exhaust , 15 gr rollers (too heavy) main jet 135 LOL. And the consuption : about 6 L ... So this is something strange =) . Sr-s are popular with that consumption , but this is just too much ... 1L oil lasts about 1000 km what I think is not too bad...

My friends SR150 (bone stock) takes about 5l per 100km!

my friends sr150 only with malossi 172cc takes 5-6 but only when he drive with 60kmh im sure that your problem is from your carb.. try to set it correct or change it with stock..

The mixture is correct by the spark plug... Its the carb problem somehow...

put the stock carb back, I don't see why you need delorto 22 for stunt?

I dont how money right now but i will buy it soon...... I bought a bike with 22 on it..

You can lock this topic... I dont have this scoot anymore ... BTW the lowest consumption I had on that scoot was about 6l...
