How can I make the rear brake being easyer to use o_O

Hi.
First of all, sorry for my english, I´m from germany ;) .
I´ve got the problem that I need very much power in the hands to use my rear brake.I know, it´s normal, to need power to brake, but I want to ask you, if there´s a way to make my rear brake being easyer to use (bad english ?!).
I´ve got a Piaggio Zip SP with a drum brake.
