Forum: Tech Stuff Topic: How can I make the rear brake being easyer to use o_O ------------------------------------------------------------- -eVo-: Hi. First of all, sorry for my english, I´m from germany ;) . I´ve got the problem that I need very much power in the hands to use my rear brake.I know, it´s normal, to need power to brake, but I want to ask you, if there´s a way to make my rear brake being easyer to use (bad english ?!). I´ve got a Piaggio Zip SP with a drum brake. Greets -eVo- Waynder: sure it is... convert to disc brake... i did the same on my sr 150.... stock was drum, now it has disc... its hella difference altough you can stunt with drum, you cant have that good feeling like when you using disc brake... i suggest that you try to get engine from NRG or Gilera... that has rear disc...it should fit right on your zip..or even big bore piaggio...like from runner 180 -eVo-: Oh... I think thats to much work, but thanks for the fast reply.I think I have to live with that brake, maybe I put some other break pads (right word for the things in a drum brake ?) at my zip. Offtopic: I saw you at the scooter weekend 06 at the Hockenheimring, you are stunting great :) ! Greets -eVo- Waynder: well... take into corsidoration that 180cc engine costs like some malossi replica cylinder + exhaust... only you'll get much better performances... So i think that puting in 180 engine isnt so expensive move... SO not only that you will have way better performace but you'll have rear disc =) -------------- thanx ;) now the look is a bit updated... =) http://www.stuntbase.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=415 .:vulin:.: the difference between zip's and nrg's engine is that zip's engine is shorter, so i don't know how will it look like;)
